So, as many of you know, I have co-founded a website called EddieEatsOut.com that lists doggy-friendly restaurants in New York City and beyond. We are looking for more people to write reviews, so if you have a dog and have a favorite restaurant that you like to visit with your pooch, please put your review here!!Tuesday, July 13, 2010

Polyvore Collages
First off, I just want to say that I freaking love Polyvore! It's amazing and so much fun! If you haven't tried it you need to check it out ASAP... even if you're not into making collages, you can view others and get great ideas.
Here are my collages for inspiration for my new apt:

Inspiration Images
So, I've moved into the new apartment! Yay! Will post pictures as soon as I unpack my camera charger ;) I'm not quite up to the point where I'm ready to post mood/inspiration boards as I said I would in my previous post, but I have been collecting some images from other blogs that I wanted to put up.
Living Room
This large round mirror over the sofa looks totally fab! Now to only have an apartment with those gorgeous pillars... (Image from Australia Vogue via La Dolce Vita)
This oversized lamp from Apartment Therapy is perfect for us because we don't have any built-in lights in the living room!
Gorgeous chaise lounge! I want to replace our bulky loveseat with a chaise and something like this from Abigail Ahern's blog would look fab (minus the dark green fabric... not my favorite color).
Yay for disco balls as decor! Don't know if I could really pull this off in our apartment, but I love it anyways... (Image also from Abigail Ahern's blog. She really has some great ideas!)
Bedroom
I just love this whole ensemb! It's a great way to organize little things, for example, the mix of the photo boxes with the vase, and the pile of books with the silver pig(?) on the floor. And don't even get me started on the duck picture! Amazing!

A great way to display our books & all the little trinkets that we have from India... (Image from Abigail Ahern's blog)
Bathroom
From the Apartment Therapy Small Cool 2010 Contest: I love the pops of coral against the white and gray. I also adore the way the shutter is propped against the wall by the bath, along with the lantern and plant. It gives it a beachy vacation feel and is a great way to spruce up a bland tile wall.

Living Room
From the current CB2 Catalog: I am obsessed with all things clear right now! We have pretty bulky couches, one of which is in the middle of the room the way that the couch is in this picture. This table and the vases add a softer touch to the furniture but don't add additional bulk!
